The Château des Condés Visitors' Book is more than a reminder of weddings past that live on in the heart of Vallery, our small village in the depths of Burgundy, where you can hire your reception room for your reception. It is a patchwork of horse-drawn carriages, hot-air balloons, and wedding rings being exchanged; a collage of laughter and tears, rock'n'roll and waltzes, and fireworks set to music. It is a pot-pourri of hairdressing and make-up sessions in the small library, of heavy garlands of roses filling the air with their scent. It is a medley of music floating out over the grounds, of blazing bonfires, and of fine wine tastings in the medieval cellars…

The château bears the name of its founding family, the "Condé" family, which can also be written with an "s" at the end - as can the royal name "Bourbon" - or "Bourbons". This is the privilege of princely and regal dynasties. We enjoy using both Château des Condé and Château des Condés!
